Goodbye Copenhagen
Brionvega’s success at Tom Dixon’s THE CARPARK for 3daysofdesign
Thank you, Copenhagen.
For three intense days, we were protagonists at 3daysofdesign, showcasing our icons inside the extraordinary space of Tom Dixon’s THE CARPARK.
At the center of it all, two timeless objects. Both rigorously handmade in Italy, both part of the permanent collection at the MoMA in New York:
-
Il radiofonografo (1965): Designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. Sound and sculpture merging into one; a clean surface that opens up to reveal its true soul.
-
Il totem (1971): Designed by Mario Bellini. A volume that gathers into a pure and essential shape, only to unfold into two perfect wings of sound.
To everyone who stopped by to visit us: thank you. For your time, for your questions, and for pausing to listen. Your reactions and wonder were the most precious part of these three days.
A special thank you to Tom Dixon and his entire team: For the warm welcome, the extraordinary space, and for sharing with us the same passion for beauty and innovation. It has been an honor and a pleasure to collaborate within such a unique setting.
To those who couldn’t make it: There is a place where these two icons are waiting for you. Certain masterpieces must be experienced in person to be fully understood: you need to feel the weight of the materials, observe the light caressing the surfaces, and let yourself be enveloped by the sound filling the room.
