The Milan Design Week 2026<\/strong> has come to a close, and we would like to thank everyone who shared this extraordinary week with us.<\/span><\/p>\n

From the Brera Design District to Salone del Mobile.Milano, our icons moved across different spaces and languages, expressing a timeless vision of design through new perspectives, encounters, and moments of exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among special editions, installations, and iconic projects, here are the main highlights that defined these days:<\/span><\/p>\n

Bredaquaranta – 60 years of the radiofonografo<\/h3>\n

At the Bredaquaranta<\/strong> showroom, in the heart of the Brera Design District, the 60th Anniversary<\/strong> radiofonografo<\/em><\/strong> was unveiled: a special numbered edition celebrating the masterpiece designed by Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the occasion, designer Elena Salmistraro<\/strong> reinterpreted the piece with a unique chromatic intervention: a “Regenerating Green” that evokes nature and vitality, enriched by tobacco-colored details on buttons, knobs, and grilles. The matte black base adds a sense of solidity, while the smoked-effect turntable lid introduces a refined transparency.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within the space, the white radiofonografo<\/i> and the white totem by Mario Bellini were also on display, further enhancing the exhibition path through a cohesive dialogue between icons and design languages.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mulino by Tom Dixon – MuaMua Hotel<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tom Dixon transformed the Mulino Factory<\/strong>, a historic 1929 building designed by Angelo Chiodi and Gio Ponti, into the MuaMua Hotel<\/strong>: a 12-room micro-hotel that redefined the concept of experience between design and hospitality.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project, developed by Design Research Studio (DRS)<\/strong>, moved beyond a traditional exhibition format to create an immersive and lasting narrative.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within this context, several iconic objects were displayed, including the blue radiofonografo<\/i><\/strong>, the white totem<\/strong>, and the radiocubo<\/strong> in its snow white and sun orange versions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tod’s – Icons by Icons<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Within the special project “ICONS by ICONS,” Tod’s celebrated the Gommino loafer<\/strong> in dialogue with four masters of 20th-century Italian design.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the featured works, the radiofonografo<\/i><\/strong> rr226 designed by Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni<\/strong> became both a visual and conceptual focal point, inspiring a reinterpretation of product language.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the occasion, the radiofonografo<\/i> was presented in a special orange finish, symbolizing the meeting of icons and the continuity between craftsmanship and innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Salone del Mobile.Milano – ABITO<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At the Stella Polare Congress Center, the white<\/strong> radiofonografo<\/i><\/strong> became part of the exhibition “ABITO,” curated by Palomba Serafini Associati<\/strong> and promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI<\/strong>) for the Salone del Mobile.Milano.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition explored the dialogue between fashion and design over the course of a century, interpreting the evolution of body and space. Within this context, the radiofonografo<\/i> stood out as a cross-disciplinary presence, capable of moving through eras and languages with coherence and contemporary relevance.<\/span><\/p>\n

At Palazzo Donizetti, Artemest presented the fourth edition of “L’Appartamento”,<\/em> dedicated to Italian Grandeur<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Five international interior design studios reinterpreted Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples, and Palermo through an immersive journey inspired by the spirit of the Grand Tour, celebrating Italy’s cultural and artisanal heritage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within this context, the white<\/strong> radiofonografo<\/i><\/strong> emerged as an element of aesthetic continuity, helping to define a vision of timeless elegance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inside Casa Tacchini, in the heart of the Brera Design District, designer Faye Toogood presented “Material Anthology”: a site-specific sculptural installation exploring the potential of raw materials through scraps, archives, and samples.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within this dialogue between matter and design, the black totem<\/strong> by Mario Bellini<\/strong> was exhibited, in harmony with the installation’s tactile and chromatic research.<\/span><\/p>\n
